• To start making Goan Poee Recipe – Sourdough Bread Recipe, add all the ingredients listed in a stand-alone mixer. Mix for about five minutes until all ingredients are well combined.

  • You may choose to put all the ingredients in a bowl, add water a little at a time, and knead into a smooth dough.

  • Spread a little oil on the surface of the dough and set aside to ferment until doubled in size; about 2 hours.

  • Do not bake for too long or the poe will become brittle and hard.

  • When done, remove from oven and serve warm.
