Mitchell was a constant terror for visiting teams during his decade with Calgary, so he knew all too well how difficult it was for opponents to win at McMahon Stadium. Mitchell compiled a 90-25-2 record for Calgary, including a 47-13-2 record at home.

In 2022, Hamilton snapped a 15-game losing streak in Calgary, pulling off a 35-32 comeback thanks in part to receiver Tim White’s touchdown run with 11 seconds left in regulation.
