Early in the third period, Leon Draisaitl was penalized for shooting the puck through the glass, but the Oilers were able to score again.

With 10:42 left in the third quarter, Mason Marchment took a pass from Tyler Seguin and scored with his 30th shot of the game. The Stars continued to apply pressure as time ticked down.
