The financial summary showed that the club had total revenue of $35.6 million and expenses of $36.7 million.

Despite the net operating loss, the summary showed the club had earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBIDA) of $1.5 million and a strong balance sheet with net assets of $49 million and a stabilisation fund balance of $9.6 million.

The team's full financials and annual report will be released after the annual shareholders meeting on June 18 in Regina.

The Riders finished last season with a 6-12 record and seven straight losses, ending their playoff aspirations for the second straight year.
