Manitoba RCMP are continuing their search for a Winnipeg woman who disappeared Thursday under mysterious circumstances.

Police now say the search for 29-year-old Brittany Storey has led them to the Molson, Manitoba, area, about an hour northeast of Winnipeg.

Police said an aerial search of the area was conducted on Sunday using a drone with assistance from the city's Air Search and Rescue Association, but so far Storey remains missing.

According to police, she was in the Rennie, Manitoba, area on Thursday afternoon when she told friends in a group chat that her car had hit a tree.

Later that day, police searched the area between Lunnie and Winnipeg, including side roads, but found no sign of Storey or her vehicle. Police said Storey had not returned home or to work since she disappeared, and had not posted anything on social media.

Storey is described as six feet tall, 130 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes, and police are concerned for her safety.

RCMP are continuing to interview people in the area and are asking anyone with information to call the Whitemouth detachment at 204-348-2935 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or Leave safety tips online.
