Foul play is not suspected in the recent death of a Vernon woman.
Police said a full investigation began on May 28 after a body was found inside a home in the 5500 block of Heritage Drive.
“The investigation concluded that there was no evidence that her death was criminally related.” Vernon RCMP ” said Wednesday morning.
Police added that the body was found at around 4:30 a.m. and the local crime investigation team has launched an investigation into the matter.
“The Vernon North Okanagan RCMP would like to extend our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. Out of respect for privacy, no further information will be released,” police said.
