No foul play is suspected in the recent death of a Vernon woman.
Police say a full investigation began on May 28 after a body was found inside a home in the 5500 block of Heritage Drive.
“The investigation concluded that no evidence was found to suggest her death was criminally related.” Vernon RCMP said Wednesday morning.
Police added that the body was found around 4:30 a.m. and the local crime squad has launched an investigation into the matter.
“The Vernon North Okanagan RCMP would like to extend our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. Out of respect for privacy, no further information will be released,” police said.
