From June 7 to 9, all provincial parks in Manitoba will be open to anyone who wants to fish in the water, with or without a permit.
You can also save money on entry to the provincial park, as no vehicle permit is required for the entire weekend.

Although a licence is not required, all other provincial fishing restrictions apply, including limits on the number and size of fish that can be taken. A federal licence is still required to fish in national parks.
Regular camping fees will still apply at provincial campgrounds.
The provincial government says visitors should check weather conditions before heading out in case some parks are temporarily closed.
