From Calgary Police Service investigating A fatal stabbing occurred in the southeast of the city.
Police said in a news release Thursday evening that around 7 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to the 1300 block of Southeast 42nd Street for a fight involving a weapon.
A teenager was found injured with what police said was suspected to be a stabbing.
The teen was taken to a hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.
An autopsy is scheduled for Monday. The teen's age has not yet been released.
Several police officers were in the area on Thursday night and police have blocked off a section of the road to allow for investigations.
Police have not released any further information.
