Guelph police search for SUV driver after bicycle crash | Globalnews.ca

Guelph police are investigating a possible hit-and-run involving a cyclist.

Members of the transportation unit were called to the West Side Community Centre on Monday afternoon.

When they arrived at the scene, they found a cyclist who had been involved in a collision with a vehicle and had sustained minor injuries. The cyclist did not seek medical attention.

Investigators said the man was riding his bike north on Imperial Road when he was struck by a maroon SUV around 5:30 p.m.

They said the driver of the SUV stopped to check on the cyclist and then left the area.

Investigators want to speak with the driver and anyone who may have witnessed the collision.
