Guelph Police investigators are searching for a vehicle they say is connected to a recent stabbing.
They released a photo of a newer gray four-door Dodge Charger seen near Eramosa Road and Speedvale Avenue East Sunday evening.
Just after 9 p.m. Sunday, a woman inside the house, believed to be the victim's mother, told investigators her 25-year-old son had gone out to talk to two other men who were waiting for him.
Investigators say the victim was attacked and suffered slash wounds to the abdomen and arms. He was taken to Hamilton Trauma Centre for treatment and has since been released.
Police found a knife at the scene and believe this was a targeted incident.
Investigators would like to speak with the owner and/or passengers of this Charger.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Guelph Police Service at 519-824-1212 ext. 7162 or Crime Line at 1-800-222-8477.
