Community members in Guelph and Wellington counties may receive a letter in the coming days that discusses the importance of donor support to purchase necessary equipment to maintain and enhance patient care, the news release states.

It goes on to say that continued support from the community will enable the hospital to meet growing health care needs.
Some of the money raised was used to purchase vital signs monitors, operating room lights and floor lifts.
Last year, the hospital raised funds to purchase a new $2 million MRI machine, which was installed in September and operational a month later.
