“Yes I know I can be like a child sometimes but that's because you give me this energy and I love you so much it hurts,” she wrote in the two-page, undated letter. “So your pain is unbearable. I don't mean to be negative but I am frustrated because there is nothing I can do.”

She also promised to help him fix up the van when she got back from New York, which could be a reference to the van the couple used while touring the country a few weeks ago. Petitto disappears And was eventually found dead.

Petito, 22, was reported missing by her family on Sept. 11, 2021, after she documented her cross-country trip in a van with Rondelli, 23, on her popular social media accounts.
