Firefighters quickly extinguish fire in Okanagan Falls - Okanagan | Globalnews.ca

Smoke rises into the sky Okanagan Falls Saturday afternoon.

The brush fire is believed to have started in an orchard along McLean Creek Road around 3 p.m., but crews from the Okanagan Falls Volunteer Fire Department were on the scene a short time later.

The BC Wildfire Management Authority estimated the fire was 1.45 hectares in size and multiple fire departments in the area responded to the scene.
