A home near Omemee, Ont., was destroyed by fire on Sunday.
Just before noon, Kawartha Lakes Fire and Rescue Department Rescue teams rushed to a house on Settler's Road in Reaboro village, just 8 kilometres west of Omemee village.

Crews found the home and attached garage engulfed in flames.
Multiple vehicles on the property were destroyed.
Kawartha Lakes police closed Settler Road between Peace Road and Slanted Road for several hours while the construction crew worked.
It was unclear if anyone was home at the time.
The cause of the fire has not yet been released.
