Edmonton police are investigating Mill Woods area.
according to Edmonton Police ServiceOn Thursday night, two women approached a 12-year-old boy at 38th Avenue and 55th Street.
Police said two women were driving a van eastbound.
“There were reports that two females were in the van and one of them exited the vehicle and allowed the young male to enter,” EPS said in a news release Saturday evening.
“The teenager fled the home and reported the incident to police.”
Police believe the women were driving a tall “Amazon” or Sprinter-style van, possibly black or dark grey in colour.
The suspect who spoke to the boy is reportedly described as a white female in her 30s, medium build, with shoulder-length brown hair.
She might be wearing a black dress.
Investigators are asking anyone who witnessed suspicious activity similar to the suspect vehicle to contact police. Anonymous information can be submitted to Crime Line.
