A 40-year-old man died collision A crash involving an SUV and a motorcycle occurred in south-central Edmonton Saturday morning.

Meanwhile, a 27-year-old man driving an SUV was traveling north on 106th Street when he collided with the scooter.

“The driver immediately called 911 to report the collision and provided medical assistance to the man until paramedics arrived on scene,” EPS said in a news release.

Paramedics rushed the 40-year-old man to hospital, where he later died.

Officers from the Major Collision Investigation Section (MCIS) are continuing to investigate.

Police said speed and alcohol were not factors in the collision.
