Drunk Driver Route 407 Police say a single-vehicle accident occurred Thursday morning.

Ontario Provincial Police said officers received a call around 6:10 a.m. about a vehicle traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of Highway 407 near Dufferin Street in Vaughan.

Police said the SUV was traveling in the wrong direction and collided with a pickup truck.

The pickup truck driver reportedly suffered minor injuries.

The driver of the SUV was arrested at the scene, police said.

A 39-year-old Vaughan resident was charged with driving under the influence (blood alcohol content over 80), driving under the influence and reckless driving.
