An autopsy was unable to determine the cause of death of a northwest Calgary man, and police are still treating the victim's death as suspicious.

On June 6, police were called to a home in the 900 block of Northwest First Street. Crescent Heights The altercation occurred around 6:30 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found a man inside the home in medical distress, but he later died.

Calgary Police Service One person was reportedly detained but later released without charge.

The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner completed an autopsy on June 7, but the cause and manner of death remain undetermined.

The homicide unit is continuing to investigate.
