On Monday afternoon, Alberta New Democratic Party legislator M. Shannon Phillips She is expected to provide details on why she resigned before the end of her third term.

The former environment minister plans to leave the riding of Lethbridge West on July 1.

The move comes after the provincial law enforcement watchdog determined two officers violated regulations when they conducted surveillance on Phillips in 2017.
