Winnipeg police are investigating a “serious collision” involving a cyclist Thursday morning near Wellington Crescent and Cockburn Avenue.

Police said there were injuries in the crash, but it was not immediately clear what the condition of the cyclist or others involved was.

Due to the accident, the section of Wellington Road between Dorchester Avenue and Hugo Street was temporarily closed.
