Elgin County OPP said six people were sent to the hospital on Sunday after a serious two-vehicle crash, including one with life-threatening injuries.
Police say a car with four people on board collided with another car with two people on board near the intersection of Talbot and Ron McNeil lines in Southwold, northwest of St. Thomas, Ont., around 2:35 p.m. Sunday.
Ontario Provincial Police, Southwold Fire Department and Elgin-St. Thomas EMS responded to the scene and rescued two people from a vehicle. Both were taken to hospital with one life-threatening injury and the other with non-life-threatening injuries.
The four other people injured in the accident also suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Police added that the investigation is ongoing.
