2 charged in historic Saskatoon murder case | Globalnews.ca

Police have arrested and charged two people in connection with the historic murder of Eagleson Thomas in 2020 in Saskatoon.

Reports say a 27-year-old woman was arrested by the Edmonton Police Service in Edmonton on May 28 with an arrest warrant related to the homicide.

On Wednesday, Prince Albert, Saskatchewan Police Department arrested a 41-year-old man who was also wanted by police in connection with the homicide.

Both suspects were taken to Saskatoon and are in custody of the Saskatoon Police Service.

The woman appeared in court on May 29 and was charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder. The man was charged with first-degree murder and is due to appear in court on Thursday.

On September 15, 2020, the victim's body was found in the 400 block of Avenue G South.
