drumstick – Use young chicken drumsticks with tender seeds so they cook faster and allow the meat to be easily removed from the drumsticks. Chicken drumsticks can be cooked in a boiling pot for 10 minutes. Can be cooked in pressure cooker for 2 whistles.

In this recipe, I have shared the recipe which involves cooking the chicken drumsticks separately and removing the meat from them. The meat is then pureed to make a soup base. But if you don’t have that much time on your hands, you can follow this simple method to make chicken drumstick soup.
Cut the chicken drumsticks into small pieces, bring to a boil, then add the whole drumsticks, skin on, to a blender. Puree until smooth. Now you can strain the stock and make soup. This method extracts the most flavor from the chicken legs, but the only drawback is that the soup will be watery. But the flavor will still be there.
How to make chicken leg soup (step-by-step pictures)

1) Cut the chicken legs in half so they cook faster. You can also cook whole chicken legs.
2) Place the chicken legs into a pot or pressure cooker.
3) Cover with water. Add water to cover chicken legs. This will also become chicken drumstick stock.
4) Cook chicken legs until completely boiling. Cook for 10 minutes until chicken legs are cooked through.
5) The chicken legs are now fully cooked. You can taste the chicken legs to see if they are fully cooked.
Remove meat from chicken legs
6) Sieve the cooked chicken legs. Let the chicken legs cool completely so the skinning process will be easier.
7) Once the chicken legs are cool enough to handle. Hold a chicken drumstick in your hand and scoop out the meat with a spoon. It’s easy to scoop out the cooked chicken thigh meat with a spoon.
8) This is the skin of the chicken legs, you can throw it away.
9) Put the chicken thigh meat into another bowl and keep the soup stock in another bowl.

10) Heat ghee in a pan. Add onions or shallots. Sauté the onions for 1 minute, until golden brown.
11) Add peeled garlic cloves and mix well. Cook for a few minutes.
