raw material
If you want real flavor, make sure to use the highest quality spices.
If you are on a tight budget, buy great value types of spices because they have good qualities.
- garlic powder — I used regular garlic powder, but you can use smoked garlic powder also.
- Black pepper –Freshly crushed is best.I like fruity flavor Terry Cherry Black Pepper. This is a black pepper variety.
- rosemaryground
- chili (or paprika) – I use 50:50 smoked paprika to sweet paprika for best results. You are free to try bell pepper, smoked paprika, hot red pepper or chili.
- cuminground
- Marjoram — Dry. If you can't find it, you can use oregano instead of marjoram. However, marjoram is better suited for this recipe.
How to make it?
step 1
Measure your spices and vanilla powder.
Place them in a small mixing bowl or small spice jar.
(It's better to put it all in a jar first since you'll need to store it anyway)
Step 2
For the mixing bowl: Mix the spices with a spoon.
For the spice jar: Cap the jar and shake well.
Step 3
Use the spice mixture in foods as desired and store the rest in jars.

You can use this seasoning to add flavor to chicken rice.
I just randomly use a teaspoon or two of this chicken spice blend Chicken dishes to enhance flavor.
A good example is Chicken nuggets. I add a teaspoon of chicken seasoning to the recipe instead of paprika, salt, and pepper to liven up the dish.
Sometimes I also swap out the Italian seasoning mix with the chicken spice mix. Chicken Alfredo Or stir a teaspoon into mine Dijon Mustard Chicken.
Or, this chicken seasoning blend Can be used as a liniment Add salt.
Add 1 teaspoon salt to the basic recipe for Mediterranean Chicken Spice Blend and use it as a chicken rub.Friction effect is very good Oven roasted chicken legs!
store
If stored properly, homemade Mediterranean chicken seasoning will keep in a jar for several months.
Keep the spice mixture away from direct sunlight and moisture (especially humidity!).
If you live in a cold or hot dry environment (EU, North America, Dubai), you can keep the spices on a shelf in your pantry.
If you live in a tropical or humid environment (UK, Florida, Caribbean, South Asia, Central Africa), store chicken seasoning in the refrigerator.
Mold grows quickly in humid climates and my experience is that the refrigerator is your best friend.
Also, keep in mind that spices and herbs will lose their intensity over time. This is why I always advocate smaller portion sizes of spice mixes.
